On November 22, 1963, former President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. He became the second of two most famous presidents to be killed, the first being Lincoln. However, most people believe that John Wilkes Booth killed Lincoln, but most people do not believe that Oswald killed JFK. Whether it's his future self killing his past self or other crazy theories like aliens, 55% of our nation still believes JFK was involved in a government conspiracy at the time of his death. Right now, in 2014 America, some people still believe that the assassination of John F. Kennedy was just a conspiracy. Here we will see why and how this could have happened in our own state, in our own country. The first theory is that Vice/Future President Lyndon B Johnson did it. One of the many reasons was that Johnson and Kennedy were huge political rivals, and rivals at all. There is also a statement Johnson said to his mistress days before the murder: "These SOBS will never embarrass me again." It's not a threat. It’s a promise.” He even called JFK the Irish mafia. Then, the next morning, he didn't care about the grieving family at all and ordered all of JFK's possessions and his family out of the White House. One of the many reasons JFK would be killed by the government is also due to the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam. After JFK's death, Johnson put them back in place. Finally, eyewitnesses say that just before the shooting, Johnson ducked. Could anything have convinced this man to kill, was it his own idea, or was it the CIA's idea? “LBJ rose to the occasion and had JFK killed to become president. that's because the CIA did it. There was a lot of tension... middle of paper ...... missiles at us, and then a year later JFK was killed. Many people still believe Oswald did it out of malice, but since he had such a history with Cuba, Mexico, Russia/Soviet Union and the Marines, such theories have emerged. Many "I'd die if it was fake" theorists believe the footage of JFK's death was edited, others believe the originals were burned and replaced. The biggest evidence of the conspiracy was after Oswald was killed by Jack Ruby, Jack was then arrested for killing a man, but the man he killed had killed the president. Everyone would have suspected that Ruby was being let go by our nation, only to find out that he had been punished for the murder of a man. Now even Ruby is part of the plot. But how could our brains not be tempted to come up with something different (almost everything has a conspiracy) instead ??
