Motivation and Conflict ManagementOrganizations strive to find creative ways to improve employee motivation and resolve conflicts with the desire for employees to perform better in the workplace . To motivate, you have to be motivated. Motivation in the workplace should be constant and require a goal. Motivation, if not repeated, will not last. Therefore, learning to determine how different organizations apply motivation theories to motivate employees, analyzing conflict management strategies, and which approaches work best in different organizations will influence an organization's success. Motivation Theories and Organizational BehaviorMotivation is the concept of stimulating or inciting a person to achieve a goal. Motivation has a lot to do with desire and ambition, and if these are absent, motivation is also absent (What is Motivation and How to Strengthen It, para. 1). Theories of motivation are specific to each organization. Some organizations have developed motivation theories such as setting work goals, evaluating job performance, and fair treatment policies in the work environment to maintain employee motivation. The impact that individuals, groups, and structures have on behavior within organizations is organizational behavior. Motivation is affected by organizational behaviors, which is why different organizations apply motivation theories to motivate employees. Applying Motivation Theories to Motivate Employees Keeping workers motivated in today's workplace can be not only a job, but also an adventure. In many organizations, this is a challenge because the workplace is made up of a diverse cultural environment.
