    John Procter, an honest man who follows the word of God; its name is a symbol of the country's stability; however, he committed an unforgivable sin and could have resulted in his banishment from the country or even his death. He was persistent, honest and full of integrity. He was simply a proud man. A wise woman once said, “Do what feels right in your heart, because you will be criticized anyway.” You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't. » (Eléonore Roosevelt). Proctor was the protagonist of this dramatic literary work. A "Proctor" is someone who observes but does not judge, this symbolizes John Procter's calm heart and what a forgiving person he is. On the other hand, clan members are not as forgiving and accepting of people who live in the same area. Additionally, isolation from the outside world has created an illiterate population with a level of ignorance of any new information other than what is said in the Bible. In the novel, this is reflected in the accusations of witchcraft against the people of Salem, Massachusetts. They blame the devil for any different behavior that occurs in their area. If people do not follow the Bible word for word, they are considered working with the devil. The people of Salem make these accusations because it is a great source of power. At the beginning of the play, John had an affair with the young and beautiful Abigail Williams, she was his servant and he took advantage of the situation. His wife, Elizabeth Proctor, is very forgiving of his sin, but John has decided not to confess it to anyone else, for fear of ruining his reputation and reputation. The affair between John and Abigail came to fruition in the middle of paper...... due to the power gained by the witchcraft accusations which spread considerably. John Proctor dies for his name and dies for the country and for peace. in people's hearts. He was a proud man and possessed the qualities of honesty, perseverance and integrity. With these attributes he was sure to be rewarded with his prize in heaven and ultimately forgiven by God..
