    The WWP was launched in 2003 to raise awareness and solicit the public's assistance in meeting the needs of seriously injured service members; helping seriously injured service members help each other and each other; provide unique and direct programs and services to meet their needs. WWP is worth supporting because its mission is to help veterans and wounded soldiers on the ground with monetary support, jobs, and rallies to get them to meet their supporters. WWP helps veterans and their caregivers with their financial and unemployment needs. As Executive Director Steven Nardizzi explained, their mission was to “foster the most successful and well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history” (WWP). What they mean by this is that they want more veterans served than any other business or non-profit organization, while still receiving the highest quality service.
