  • Essay / Essay on What Family Means to Me - 1419

My mother was a supermom. She drove carpools, was always in every cheer club, and ran every class party I can remember. She encouraged me to do whatever I wanted to do. She made sure I got everything I wanted. None of this would have been possible if my father didn't work. Even though I felt like he was always gone, he was just doing what he had to do to make sure my mom and I could live a comfortable life. Of course, he took every opportunity he could to come watch me at one of my matches or help me practice in the backyard. If I didn't have them, I wouldn't have anything. They are the ones who supported all my decisions and made me feel better about trying new things. Without them, I wouldn't be the person I am. Not only would life without my parents be radically different, but also without my siblings. Like I said before, they were my best friends growing up. I could always count on myself to be there when I was down. Not only did they lift me up when I was down, but they also praised me when I was up. They treated me like I was the greatest thing that ever walked on God's green earth. Even though they annoy me at times with the constant need for attention and the feeling of having to be involved in every detail of my personal life, I love them more than words ever will.
