Essay / Students should receive help when applying to college
Nowadays, there is a controversial question about the extent to which other people should "help" you write a personal statement when of your university application. Some of my friends insist that since it is a “personal statement,” it must be made only by the student. However, I see this question another way. Personally, I see that unless a personal statement writing service is involved, getting help from a teacher and parents is still not considered cheating. I see that the first time statement writer should be closely guided and given proper guidance from a tutor or teacher who has some experience in this field, so that an excellent statement can be written. Also, getting help is not the same as going for a statement of purpose writing service, which is definitely cheating. This way, the work remains the property of the student, with some form and revision by the teacher or family, and it is not cheating at all. My friends say there are a number of websites that could help a student get started on their own, without a live guide. I see it differently. I mentioned the importance of having a teacher or tutor, as an advisor, around a college applicant, because my view holds that help from teacher and family does not This is not considered cheating. When a student is in their final year of high school, it is inevitable to wonder what and where to study, as well as how to submit an application to their desired university. A number of students do not know what to do or how to best succeed in order to be accepted into college. In Canada, an Ipsos Reid poll carried out on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and CIBC aims to determine the trend in adolescent concerns at school. This shows that 63% of high school students worry about the pressure to do well so...... middle of paper...... I still strongly believe, and insist, that getting from help in this area is not cheating at all. Works Cited “But you don’t like reading. Why do you want to go to Harvard? CNN.com. Internet.
